Classically Elegant
It was a dress worth a seat to itself on the plane on the way to the wedding. Zoya looked stunningly elegant as she married in classical style back at home in Bulgaria.
Zoya had her heart set on a cathedral length veil and this veil one of our longest ever - fitting for the impressive marriage setting and the traditional Bulgarian wedding crowns.
Zoya had tried on my Sabrina design in the salon and fell in love with the classic 1950s style. She decided on the gown in ivory Duchesse satin - which has a sheen but isn't shiny. However, Zoya wanted the style to sit just on the shoulder, so a few adjustments to get to the final pattern were needed.
Making Zoya's dress was a wonderful experience - as Zoya and sister Kristina were amongst the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. Everyone should have a sister like Kristina!
