A beautiful soul inside and out, Fiona's time scale was very tight for buying a dress off the peg, but we were able to create the dress of her dreams for her wedding to Danny in Dundee. 

Fiona wanted a bold, black gown which was elegant and sophisticated and this suited both her personality and her great figure. The brief from day one was to complement her black DMs which she wanted to star on her wedding day with the laces replaced by ivory ribbon.

The bodice of the dress is fully boned in a comfortable spiral boning which moves in every direction you can think if while still giving reliable support. The duchesse satin underbodice has a striking Alençon lace over bodice – a richly embellished fabric with raised cord motifs.

More than 20m of soft chiffon tiers edged with horsehair braid cover the duchesse satin skirt which extends into a train.

We also sourced a black bird cage veil for Fiona to finish her wedding day vision.
