Ruffle Riot

Ruffle Riot– true vintage 1970s lace wedding dress

If your motto is more is more, then Ruffle Riot is calling your name. She’s a frothy, ruffled vision straight from the heart of the mid-1970s—a time when brides didn’t whisper, they swooshed.

Made entirely from white lace, this true vintage gown takes its cues from Edwardian style but dials everything up to eleven. A high lace collar frames a scoop yoke edged (naturally) with a ruffle. The fitted lace bodice flows into an A-line skirt, joined at the waist with another flounce of frill. From there, it’s tier upon tier of lace ruffles all the way down into a dramatic, swishy train.

And the sleeves? Tight to the elbow, then bursting into three tiers of increasingly voluminous lace ruffles. They’re outrageous, in the best possible way.

This is a one-of-a-kind gown for a bride with serious vintage flair. All she needs is a wide-brimmed white hat… or maybe a lace parasol (ruffled, of course).

Best fit for a size 6 or a small 8 in the waist. Available to try on in the Tricker Bridal salon or purchase online. Professionally cleaned and in excellent condition.
