This one’s straight out of a 1970s daydream – think flower crowns, poetry anthologies, and a folk record spinning in the background. Gather Ye Rose Buds is a true vintage gown with a soft, romantic heart and just a touch of wistful drama.
Made by Modell Lohrengel – a name whispered reverently in vintage bridal circles – this floor-length A-line beauty is everything I love about mid-70s bridal fashion. A sweetheart under-bodice peeks through a delicate lace floral overlay, with full-length sleeves ending in a flourish of chiffon double-ruffles (ideal for dramatic hand gestures or spontaneous dancing in meadows).
The lace skirt is gathered and gently picked up in places, revealing little rose pink rosebuds tucked – a charming touch. A pink grosgrain ribbon ties at the waist, and the hem finishes in a cascade of a trio of chiffon ruffles. It's a love letter written in fabric.
This is one for the poetic souls, the vintage romantics, and the brides who want to wear something truly original. Perfect for outdoor weddings, whimsical elopements or anyone in love with The Seventies.
Cleaned and in excellent condition. Rose buds have been replaced. Check length as it's relatively short. Shown here with single hoop petticoat which is not included.
