This is a size 12 sample dress in excellent condition with her original tags, featuring a V-neck bodice on nude tulle that’s been lavishly beaded by someone with excellent taste and possibly a magnifying glass. The beading continues on the waist band, which gives way to a soft chiffon skirt that floats as you move. Want a bit more swish? Add an underskirt and you’re away.

The back is just as lovely – a V shape with a zip to the waist, finished off with delicate pearl buttons because she’s a classy lass. And despite the beading, she’s surprisingly lightweight – ideal for destination weddings, hot weather ceremonies or elopements that involve a suitcase and a bit of adventure.
